Follow clinic stock from a received batch and expiry record to an appointment reservation, exact batch usage, treatment trace and a frozen recall group for review.
Receive and post an exact batch
Match the purchase order line and record 20 packs with the lot, expiry, storage location and exact unit. Processing precedes the saved batch receipt.
Review stock availability and expiry
Check the batch identity, expiry, on-hand quantity, reserved stock and allocatable quantity in the clinic’s stock records.
Reserve stock for booked treatment
A published consumables recipe allocates one pack to Sophie’s booked treatment. The reservation reduces allocatable stock, rather than recording the pack as used.
Record the exact batch used
The assigned practitioner selects the exact batch and one pack for an appointment that has started. Existing readiness evidence and the saved report are reviewed before governed treatment completion commits the usage and delivery record.
Review the booking-to-cost trace
Review expected, reserved and actual usage with the batch identity and recorded treatment evidence. One consumed pack leaves 19 on hand and no remaining reservation.
Freeze a recall group for review
Choose the exact batch on the recorded governed appointment, an owner and a reason. Freeze the matched group of one treatment and one customer. This action does not send messages or quarantine the batch.
Keep the stock trace connected
Batch identity, expiry, reservations, recorded usage and governed treatment links stay connected for the authorised team to review on Growth.
