Payments through the included Managed Website

Customers book and continue to checkout through the website included with every Managed plan. Accepting payments requires completed Stripe setup.

  2. 00:08

    Reserve with card

With a card-reservation policy, customers add their card at checkout. After confirmation the card is saved without an upfront charge; the £220 appointment balance remains unpaid.

  3. 00:17

Configure deposits or take full payment

A 10% deposit with a £50 minimum means whichever is higher. For Sophie’s £220 treatment, 10% is £22, so the deposit is £50 and £170 remains. Where offered, the customer can choose to pay the full £220 instead.

  4. 00:29

    Offer eligible online payment methods

Methods can include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Klarna, Clearpay and Pay by Bank. Availability depends on the business, account setup, customer, currency and provider eligibility; these are not all card-reservation methods.

  5. 00:40

    Confirm the payment result

A payment in progress stays pending until confirmed. A successful £50 deposit is recorded against the appointment, leaving £170 outstanding.

  6. 00:49

    Keep payments with the appointment

Review the successful deposit, partially paid booking and client payment history. Managed fees are 3% on Free, 2% on Starter and 1% on Growth for eligible processed payments; provider fees and tax are separate.
